NEIBORHOOD DEFINITION

Murray Hill sits below 42nd Street, between Chelsea and Midtown, bordered by 34th Street. It spans from the East River to Madison Avenue.

 

ARCHITECTURAL STYLE

Murray is in the middle of Manhattan. There you can find all kinds of buildings including luxury condos, prewar apartments built in 19th Century, and beautiful brownstones.

 

LANMARK

Empire Stage Building is located at south of Murray Hill. The two post-war condos, Kips Bay Towers, occupy three blocks. The renovated Morgan Library is also a historic building in the neighborhood.

 

NEIGHBORHOOD

Murray Hill is a residential area where the wealthiest estates in New York once gathered. From restaurants, plenty options of nightlife, to various services, convenience is one of the most important features here; it is also close to Midtown where those main public transportations are.
